Once you have chosen a time\, your teacher will send you a Zoom link to join the meeting. \nThese 5-10-minute individual family meetings will take place on August 17 between the hours of 9-11 a.m. and 4-6 p.m. If families are unavailable during those times\, special accommodations can be made by coordinating with your teacher. \nFor questions\, email Shylah Poirier\, assistant principal of lower school\, at spoirier@athlosutah.org. \n\nFor grades 5-8:\nYour teachers will hold two introductory meetings via Zoom. These sessions will take place at 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. on August 17. They will last 20 minutes. The content shared in these sessions will be the same at both times. SUMMARY:Utah Wild Ultimate Frisbee Zoom Event
DESCRIPTION:Join us for a Zoom event with the Utah Wild!\nUtah Wild is a women’s Ultimate Frisbee team comprised of 30 professional players from Utah\, Idaho\, Montana\, and Colorado. They compete in the Western Ultimate League against teams from all over the western USA. \nThe organization’s goal is to contribute to the growth and development of Ultimate Frisbee in their communities. They are connected to the Utah Ultimate Disc Association which runs most of the Utah youth programs. The Wild are also hoping to run youth camps and clinics when it is safe to do so. \nDuring this event: \n\nPlayers will share stories from their Ultimate careers\nPlayers will talk about their experiences with sport and how it shaped them growing up\nPlayers will talk about their favorite Athlos PC Trait and what it means to them\nPlayers and/or Athlos Coaches will lead an activity\nTime for Q&A at the end\n\nContact Coach Price at dprice@athlosutah.org if you would like to join this Zoom event.
