We know that teachers and staff dedicate many hours to help provide a well-rounded education for our Athlos students. One of the best ways to support them is by volunteering! When you volunteer your time, you are having a positive impact on your child’s educational experience.

Through volunteer time and monetary donations, the PTO coordinates and carries out supporting students, teachers and staff through a variety of initiatives.
Family Events Classic Skate Nights (2x per year), Spring Fundraiser Carnival, Restaurant Spirit Nights, Activities on the Turf
Staff Support Parent Teacher Conferences meals & snacks, Staff Holiday Party, Staff Appreciation Week, Administrative Professionals Day, School Supply Drive
School Enrichment Support the Book Fair, Field Day, Jr. High Valentines Dance, 9th Grade and Kinder Graduation caps, robes and gifts, library organization, and more!
We meet in person each month in the conference room at the school. The meetings are held the third Tuesday of the month at 7:30PM. We make Zoom available so that anyone who would like to attend virtually may do so. We hope having these two options will help our parents with a variety of work schedules to be able to attend periodically.
Each school year we have two General PTO Meetings. One is in September where the annual budget is proposed and ratified and any additional officers voted in or appointed. In April is the second General PTO Meeting, where PTO Board Member nominations for the next school year are presented for vote to the attending PTO membership.
These meetings are the best way to become involved and to stay updated about what we have coming up. We need your ideas, energy, and passion to pull off our goals for the year. Please come!
Whatever your busy professional or family schedules may be, there are plenty of ways you can help. Whether it’s in person or from home, we have projects to do that can fit your schedule. We love when grandparents or other family members come and volunteer too! When many hands help, the work is lighter, and your efforts will help make a big difference for the school!

Every time you use your rewards account when making purchases, Kroger sets aside a small portion, which will be donated to the school. The more families who do this, the more the school earns! The PTO receives a check from Kroger quarterly, and we use that money for our various events and programs.
Download the Box Tops for Education app, choose Athlos Academy of Utah, and start scanning in your receipts within 14 days of the purchase.
The app shows what brands and products are eligible, to help plan your grocery shopping. For each receipt, you can choose which grade to credit. There’s even a leaderboard to see how each grade is performing.
At the end of the school year Box Tops for Education sends the PTO a check with our earnings, and we use that money for the next school year’s activities.
